| First attempt at Venus. Imaged at 4.00pm, 27/12/05, Venus low in the Southern sky and still light. Best of about 2000 frames, 10fps, stacked in Registax | A wonderful sight! Here is an image of Venus (top) and Mercury (bottom) at sunset on 6th February 2007. I have never seen Mercury before, so i'm really pleased with this! The picture was taken with my Sony DSC-P73 camera mounted on a small tripod on the window sill! |

Venus and Moon
Conjunction in May 2007 at about 10.00pm A lovely sight, Venus by far the brightest object high in the Western Sky with the Moon nearby. I took this image with a single shot using my Canon EOS 350D. |
