M31 Andromeda Galaxy taken 17th October 2007 with Canon 350D and 200mm lens. Celestron SLT Computerised mount, 70 subs at 45s exposures, ISO800, stacked in DeepSkyStacker.
Widefield M31 Andromeda Galaxy and M110 taken 7/8/07 with the ST80 and Canon 350D camera. 10 subs at 30s each and stacked using DeepSkyStacker cropped to show detail. This beast is not easy to image, but the best so far! A more dramatic image of M31 Andromeda Galaxy. Taken on the 5th October with the ST80 and Canon 350D. This image also includes dark and flat frames, stacked in DSS processed in Photoshop.
The Christmas Tree Cluster (NGC 2264) Managed to capture the cluster, but only a tiny amount of nebulosity which forms part of the Cone Nebula. Taken 3/2/08 with ST80 and Canon 350D camera. 30 subs at 45s. The Horsehead Nebula and Flame Nebula in Orion. Really pleased with this image! Taken 4/2/08 with ST80 and Canon 350D camera. about 100 subs at 45s. ISO800. Stacked in DSS and processed with Photoshop.
The Whirlpool Galaxy (M51) taken on 3/3/08 again with the Skywatcher ST80 and Canon 350D camera. I have waited so long to be able to capture this beautiful spiral galaxy! 60 subs at 45s, ISO800 Stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop. The (tiny) Eskimo Nebula. (NGC 2392) I was quite amazed that I could even see this object with the equipment that I had. Would need better scope to see detail. ST80 scope, Canon 35D and 60 subs at 45s, ISO800 Stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop.
